Sushi zanmai is a Japanese restaurant which is situated at Sunway Pyramid. When we reached the restaurant, we stand in the queue outside the restaurant. This is because, there were none of the waiters could translate the Japanese language into English . We felt that we had been and we felt upset.
After 10 minutes, the service staff led us to our seats. When we first stepped into the restaurant, the first scene came into our eyes is the conveyor belt which is full of variety of sushi. And, in the middle of the conveyor belt has a kitchen. The kitchen is surrounded by transparent glass. So, customers could saw the chef in the process making sushi through the transparent glass.

Unfortunately , we didn’t sit around the conveyor belt, so we could only ordered the sushi from the menu instead. The sushi dishes were actually very good in taste . Fresh sushi all the time from Sushi Zanmai and their reasonable price had attracted us.
Because of we were eating a Japanese food, so we all ordered Ocha(green tea) as our drinks. Each Ocha cost RM1.00. We love their green tea. The green tea is very rich in taste, smooth to drink, and it is refillable!
And, our member, Kelly Chong would like to try the Kabiage Don (RM8.80 small). It is rice that has included fried prawn and vegetable. After Kelly had finished this dish, she leaved a comment that the sauce in the rice is very tasty and the prawns is really crispy.
We were also ordered a Unagi Okonomiyaki (RM12.80). It is a roasted eel japanese pancake. The size of this pancake is a bit small, but after we ate, we found that Unagi Okonomiyaki was delectable! We were really enjoying. And, at the last, everyone was grabbing to eat the last piece.
At the same time, Shean was eating the Chicken Karage Don (RM8.80 Small)
It had rice that has included fried chicken and onion. The fried chicken and union are covered with sweet and salty source. Shean likes it so much and believed it could be accepted by every people.
Ika sugatayaki (RM13.80). It is a grilled squid. The Ika sugatayaki was supposedly appetizer. The squeeze of lemon really brought out the flavor in the squid - the scent of sea.
Ebi Mentaiyaki (RM12.80). It is a prawn grilled with cold roe. Add the lemon on the prawn had made the dished very delicious. But the price for this dish is a little bit expensive for student. So, we are not recommend student to try Ebi Mentaiyaki.
Dai Dai Roll (RM12.80). It is a spicy crabmeat sushi roll topped with salmon and shrimproe. The chefs put some mayonnaise on the sushi make the sushi taste better. And, we love the salmon, it is quite fresh, we like it so much!
Edamame (RM3.80). It is a boiled green soybean. It's tasted a bit sweet and crispy. Actually Edamame is very common in Japan, it just like a snack before people taking their meal.
Sakura (RM4.80). This is a hand-rolling sushi. It is include salmon and cucumber. It tastes very nice and the size is suitable to hold. Neither small nor too big.
We have some trouble looking for this restaurant in Sunway Pyramid and the information kiosk wasn’t a great help. So, the easiest way to locate it is to look for Kim Gary because Sushi Zanmai is just on top of it. The environment of this restaurant is quite good, clear and comfortable.
In conclusion, we really satisfied and enjoyed with the foods and environment, but the service was terrible. They served food very slow and the waiter served the wrong food for us. Fortunately, we took our lunch in Sushi Zanmai after classes, so we didn't need to take our food so rush. But, because of the reasonable price and good environment, we are still recommend people to have their food there, if you have no work that day :p
