ZenQ~ It's time for DESSERT!

Dessert, dessert, dessert.........  ZenQ dessert!!!

We (Chiaw Ching and Kelly Chong) had suggested ZenQ Dessert. After the group discussion, our group members agreed to go to  ZenQ Dessert  for the dessert time! Wow, we felt so excited and decided to choose ZenQ dessert as the title for our blog writing.

  On 30^th of April, it was a school break and we decided to go to ZenQ Dessert that located at Sunway Pyramid. ZenQ Dessert is a new shop that opened recently at there but business was quite good. There were a lot of people stand in queue and waiting for their turn in order to make their ordered. We had to walk to the counter and stand in queue to make our order since it is a self-service basis for order only.

  When it’s our turn to order, the cashier greeted “欢迎光临 (Huan Ying Guang Lin)” politely to us which means welcome in Mandarin. The workers were trained to smile at the customer as the words always said " Customer Right". Sincerely , the service was good and we were satisfied with it. This could be shown as the worker kindly explained and promoted the desserts to us.

  There are many types of desserts which offered appetising traditional handmade Taiwanese desserts such as Grass Jelly Series, Red Bean Series, Barley Series, Shaved Ice Series, Iced Tea Series and Toast Series. We decided to order 3 ZenQ Signature, 1 Pearl Red Bean Soup and 1 Q Yuan Red Bean Soup. After chosen our dessert, we made our payment and the total payment were  RM32.50. There was no service charged and government charged. The prices of dessert are still reasonable and acceptable.We were given a voucher from the cashier after we paid the payment. That was great!

  We found a comfortable place to sit  and waited patiently  for our orders. The place was elegant furnished and peaceful. The shop had used the colour of green as the background colour that would benefit the customers. Based on the scientific investigation, green colour could help to relax our mind and reduced the power of short-sightedness. We felt relax and enjoyed these peaceful  environment. We can see that ZenQ's workers were really helpful and hardworking.  While waiting for the dessert, we had a long chat within group members about our college life. When the dessert were ready to be eaten, we stopped chatting and tried different dessert that we had ordered. Wow, it tasted good. It made us inspired of their creativity. The desserts were so attractive and delicateness. We're in love with those desserts.

  ZenQ Signature was the famous dessert in ZenQ. This bowl of dessert contained shaved ice, taro balls, grass jelly, crystal noodles and pearls. You can choose different flavour of shaved ice such as grass jelly, green tea and soya. It was a very nice, big  and cooling dessert. Besides, Q Yuan (taro balls) had different colour that made from different ingredient and had different flavour. Orange is sweet potato, white is yam, green is green tea. It costs RM6.90 each. We think that this price is reasonable to everyone especially for colleagues.

  For Pearl Red Bean and Q Yuan Red Bean, they seemed alike except one with pearl and another one only have Q Yuan. The red beans were nothing special for us compared to other places. The toppings were tempt us.  The sugar level was just right for us, wasn’t too sweet. Both of them are same prices which costs RM5.90 each.

  After we finish our desserts, is time for us to go home. When we stepped out the entrance of the dessert place, all the staffs greeted “谢谢光临 (Xie Xie Guang Lin)” which means thank you for coming in Mandarin. We felt that we had been respected and promised to come again.

  In a nutshell, we think that ZenQ Dessert is a  suitable place to have desserts for everyone. This is because the prices are reasonable and affordable for the students. The place is quite clean and bright. Well, the services and the attitude of the workers should be leaned by others workers. As we know, services is important and we should respect customers right. Last but not least, you should go to ZenQ Dessert and try those dessert. You will love it.
